Annual F**K CANCER concert showcases Canadian classic rock

Presented by Wheaton Precious Metals and Beedie, the F**K CANCER 2 benefit will take place on Oct. 21 at the Centre for the Performing Arts, 777 Home St., 6 p.m. Tickets from $105 are on sale at Ticketmaster.
All revenues from ticket sales goes towards PROFYLE (Precision Oncology for Young People), which specializes in targeting children’s cancer.

Among the star-studded artists appearing are eight-time Juno award-winning blues rocker Colin James, members of Chilliwack, Doug & the Slugs, Headpins, H.U.N.N., Loverboy, Powder Blues, PRISM, Jeff Neill, Al Harlow, Jim Byrnes, Lee Aaron along with Trooper Hot Shots, featuring three original Trooper members plus two members of Stonebolt.
It’s quite the list of celebrated Canuck rockers pulling together to raise funds and fun times.
The 2022 edition of the show raised $344,000 for cancer research. This year’s goal is to do even better.
