Chapter 18 just showed us how Sarang and Won crossed paths, and they already ended up becoming enemies. Now, whether or not they will fall for each other, only time can tell us.
The manga King the Land follows Gu Won. He has everything in his life, including the trauma his family gave him, that makes it difficult to enjoy seeing others smile. Sarang enters his life, and even though they are sworn enemies at the first meeting, things might change.

Won meets Sarang, and they end up fighting with each other. Both of them are frustrated with each other, and it is evident by their thoughts about each other being them and what is wrong with the other person. They turn out to be sworn enemies and promise not to cross paths with each other for the reason of sheer hatred they have for each other.
King The Land Chapter 18 Recap
In the previous chapter, that is Chapter 18 of King The Land, and Sang Sik asks Gu Won why he hasn’t fixed his pocket watch yet. Won asks him to leave it aside. As Won is working there for the first time, he says he’s tired of pretentious people.
Sang tells him not everyone is pretending and not everything can be perfect. Gu Won forgets his phone, so Sang asks the staff, and Sarang is assigned the work of finding his phone but goes to the washroom to wash her ink-spiled hands.
Won returns during this time. Won takes off his clothes and heads to the washroom, only to find Sarang there washing her hands. Their eyes meet each other, and she screams. After things calm down in a few minutes, they are unable to meet each other’s eyes. Sarang tells him she is there to fetch his phone and hands it over to him. As she takes her leave, Won recognizes her and asks her if they have met before.
He asks her if she remembers the incident of the tiger shirt, and she says she does with a grim expression. He demands an apology from her. She refuses to apologize and tells him she needs an apology, too, and he is shocked. As Sarang is leaving, he tells her not to cross paths with him., The lift arrives, and he takes it first. Sarang wonders what is wrong with him and why he acts like so, and the chapter comes to an end.
