Chronicles Of The Demon Faction Chapter 35 will see the aftermath of a battle filled with tricks and malice. Hajin and The Fourth Lord went head to head in the previous chapters of the manga, which led to one of the most gruesome fights this manhwa has ever seen. With the destruction of The Fourth Lord’s Qi Core, this battle has finally arrived at its end, or has it?

Chronicles Of The Demon Faction Chapter 34 opens up with Hajin getting affected by the poison of the Fourth Lord. He gets caught off guard by this technique because he never thought that the Fourth Lord would be hiding such a monstrous technique. Hajin thinks that he should get out of the poison as soon as possible, so he closes his eyes and attacks the Fourth Lord by using his other senses.

Hajin’s blade doesn’t strike anyone, which leaves him confused, and he wonders if the Fourth Lord disappeared. Suddenly, Hajin hears a familiar cry for help from somewhere. He looks around and finds Anghwa crying while lying on the ground. Hajin rushes towards Anghwa and holds her in his arms. He then urges her to stay in one place as moving would affect her wounds.

Suddenly, Anghwa’s eyes light up, and she strikes at Hajin. Hajin falls back and immediately realizes that the Fourth Lord disguised himself as Anghwa. The Fourth Lord then changes his disguise to the Secret Emon Queen. He then tells Hajin that now that he has taken his hands and legs, he will now be taking his head. Hajin looks at his body and finds that his hands and legs have disappeared.

Hajin struggles to keep his sanity while being inside the poison, but The Fourth Lord gets amused by this. The Fourth Lord then states that he will kill Hajin because if he lets Hajin live, then he will surely come back again and cause even more nuisances for him. The Fourth Lord rushes to strike a final blow to Hajin, but Hajin suddenly breaks free from the illusion and grabs his neck.

Hajin says that this secret martial arts technique is pathetic, just like its wielder. He then punches the Fourth Lord right in the gut and says that true power cannot be achieved with such petty tricks.

Hajin recalls how he used to train to become poison-resistant when he was an assassin, and he feels thankful for all the detoxification techniques he learned back then because those same techniques helped him, this time, to break free from the Fourth Lord’s poison.

The Fourth Lord refuses to believe that Hajin broke through his poison as he would need to be on the level of the Demonic Elders to be able to achieve such a feat. Hajin says that even though it took him a while to detoxify the poison, it’s still not something worth praising. He then walks towards The Fourth Lord and says that he will now demonstrate what real demonic arts are.

Hajin releases the true opening of the dark shadow demonic art and uses the technique “Ninefold Resilient Calamity blade Technique First Form, Six Consecutive Hellish Winds.”

A Dark red aura surrounds Hajin, which sends immense pressure towards the Fourth Lord. The Fourth Lord barely manages to stand straight, and he wonders how he’s getting attacked when Hajin hasn’t even moved yet.

Hajin finally makes his move by using Heaven Splitting Triple Slash, and he cuts down the Fourth Lord. Before finishing off the Fourth Lord, Hajin asks for his final wish, but he stays silent. Hajin then decides to land the last strike, but suddenly, formless energy stops him from moving his blade.

Hajin realizes that such a skill can only be performed by someone with advanced martial arts knowledge, which means that it’s done by someone from the penal law hall. Sadly for the Penal Law Hall Master, Hajin easily breaks free and destroys the Qi core of the fourth lord.
