“The best auditions come from passionate entrepreneurs who can prove that what they’re selling is innovative, interesting, and solves a problem! We look for pitches that not only capture our attention, but also tell a story,” said Molly Middleton, a senior producer for Dragons’ Den in an email. “We want people to prove they’ve got a viable business, and that they’re worth investing in.”
This time out auditions are for the upcoming 19th season of the show. That season will likely land on CBC TV and CBC Gem in the fall.

“It’s that perfect blend of entertainment, education and a celebration of entrepreneurship that just keeps giving after so many years,” said Middleton about the show’s success.
The Dragons these days are Arlene Dickinson, Robert Herjavec, Michele Romanow, Manjit Minhas, Wes Hall and Vincenzo Guzzo.
