The Vancouver Police Department says a man was arrested in Stanley Park on Monday after trying to get into several occupied vehicles.
According to a statement released on X — formerly Twitter — police received multiple 911 calls from drivers who had encountered the man.

“Our officers dropped everything to get there as safely/fast as they could,” the statement read. “Once he was arrested, callers wanted him to get help.”
The man, who has not been identified, was arrested for breaching probation.
