Indo Warehouse is a record label and touring live event series that bills itself as showcasing “the beauty of South Asian culture, music, and rhythm within the global language of house and techno.”
The Indo Warehouse Vancouver pop-up event takes place at Village Studios, 1024 Davie St. on Aug. 26, 10 p.m. – 2 a.m.
Featuring Kahani and Kunal Merchant, the Blueprint presented event is one of only a few listed on the website, before the DJs head off to European dates.
Those attending can expect to hear some taut, rhythm-heavy contemporary house and EDM sounds sure to keep the dancing going well into the early hours. Videos from events in Brooklyn look like the lighting and vibe of the event is more chill production-wise than many similar such DJ events.
